Human
Services Professionals have a critical role in the continuum of services. Through the counseling and coaching,
practitioners can support and promote respect for human diversity and dignity. The
assessment of the appropriate intervention and individual’s needs is based on
the recognition of the physiological status of the person. The possibility of
positive response is also dependent on the professional’s strategies and
resources available in assisting the situation. The work of the human service
professional therefore assists the individuals in regaining his previous social
and personal roles in the best possible way.
