Role in the continuum of services
Human Services Professionals have a critical role in the continuum of services.  Through the counseling and coaching, practitioners can support and promote respect for human diversity and dignity. The assessment of the appropriate intervention and individual’s needs is based on the recognition of the physiological status of the person. The possibility of positive response is also dependent on the professional’s strategies and resources available in assisting the situation. The work of the human service professional therefore assists the individuals in regaining his previous social and personal roles in the best possible way.
